Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Chat247 Inc. ("Chat247," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Chat247 Community website at community.chat247.bot (the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Eligibility
Age Requirements
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age.
If you are between 16 and 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
Authority
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or entity:
- You represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms
- References to "you" include both you individually and the organization
Geographic Restrictions
The Service is operated from Costa Rica. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in all locations. Access to the Service from territories where the content is illegal is prohibited.
User Accounts
Account Creation
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When creating an account:
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
- You must maintain and promptly update your account information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
Account Security
- Password security: Use a strong, unique password
- Two-factor authentication: We strongly recommend enabling 2FA when available
- Shared access: Do not share your account credentials with others
- Suspicious activity: Report any security breaches immediately to security@chat247.bot
Account Limitations
- One account per person (no duplicate accounts)
- Accounts are non-transferable
- You may not sell, trade, or give away your account
- We may limit the number of accounts from a single organization
User Content
Your Content
"User Content" means any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service, including:
- Topics and discussions
- Posts, comments, and replies
- Profile information and biography
- Private messages
- Any other content you create or upload
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in your User Content. However, by posting User Content to the Service, you grant us certain licenses as described below.
License to Chat247
By posting User Content to the Service, you grant Chat247 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to:
- Use, reproduce, and display your User Content
- Modify, adapt, and create derivative works from your User Content (for formatting and display purposes)
- Distribute your User Content through the Service
- Sublicense these rights to service providers necessary to operate the Service
This license exists only for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service.
Public Content
Unless posted as a private message, all User Content you post is publicly visible and may be:
- Viewed by anyone on the internet
- Indexed by search engines
- Shared on social media
- Cached or archived by third parties
Do not post anything you want to keep private.
Content Standards
You represent and warrant that your User Content:
- Is accurate and not misleading
- Does not violate any applicable law or regulation
- Does not infringe upon any intellectual property or other rights of any third party
- Does not contain viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Complies with our Community Guidelines
Content Moderation
We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to:
- Monitor, review, or edit User Content
- Remove or refuse to post any User Content
- Take any action with respect to User Content that we deem necessary or appropriate
We are not responsible for any User Content posted by users.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
Illegal Activity
- Using the Service for any illegal purpose
- Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Promoting or facilitating illegal activities
Harmful Content
- Posting content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or hateful
- Sharing content that promotes violence, discrimination, or harm
- Distributing malware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Posting sexually explicit content
Intellectual Property Violations
- Infringing upon copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights
- Posting pirated software or content
- Impersonating others or misrepresenting your affiliation
Security and Abuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or user accounts
- Interfering with the proper functioning of the Service
- Circumventing any security features or access controls
- Using automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Engaging in denial-of-service attacks or similar disruptions
Spam and Manipulation
- Posting spam, unsolicited advertisements, or promotional content
- Manipulating voting, reputation, or ranking systems
- Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions
- Engaging in vote manipulation or artificial engagement
Privacy Violations
- Collecting or harvesting user information without consent
- Sharing others' private or personal information (doxxing)
- Violating others' privacy rights
Intellectual Property Rights
Chat247 Content
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Chat247 and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Our Trademarks
Chat247, the Chat247 logo, and other Chat247 trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos are trademarks of Chat247 Inc. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
DMCA Policy
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that any content on the Service infringes your copyright:
- Send a written notice to dmca@chat247.bot containing:
- Your contact information
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- URL of the allegedly infringing content
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized
- A statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act
- Your physical or electronic signature
- We will investigate and take appropriate action
- Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated
Termination
Your Right to Terminate
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Visiting Settings > Account > Delete Account
- Following the account deletion process
- Contacting support@chat247.bot for assistance
Our Right to Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:
- Violation of these Terms
- Violation of our Community Guidelines
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Upon request by law enforcement or government authorities
- Extended periods of inactivity
- Technical or security reasons
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- Your account and profile will be deactivated
- Your User Content may remain publicly visible (see Privacy Policy for details)
- We may delete your data according to our Privacy Policy
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHAT247 DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
- Warranties that defects will be corrected
User Content Disclaimer
We do not endorse, support, represent, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any User Content. You acknowledge that by using the Service, you may be exposed to content that is offensive, harmful, inaccurate, or otherwise inappropriate.
Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites.
No Professional Advice
The Service is not intended to provide professional advice (legal, medical, financial, technical, or otherwise). Content on the Service should not be relied upon for making decisions without consulting qualified professionals.
Limitation of Liability

- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from:
- Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content or data
- Any other matter relating to the Service
WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
Maximum Liability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- $100 USD, OR
- The amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose
Jurisdictional Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:
- Informal negotiation: Contact us at legal@chat247.bot to attempt to resolve the dispute informally
- Mediation: If informal negotiation fails, we agree to participate in mediation
- Arbitration: If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in San José, Costa Rica
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between you and Chat247 individually. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- No arbitration or proceeding shall be joined with any other
- There is no right or authority for any dispute to be arbitrated on a class-action basis
- There is no right or authority for any dispute to be brought in a purported representative capacity
Jurisdiction
You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in San José, Costa Rica for any actions for which the parties retain the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief.
Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chat247 regarding the Service.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
