Welcome to the Chat247 Community! This is a space for users, developers, and enthusiasts to connect, learn, and share experiences with Chat247's WhatsApp automation platform.

These guidelines help ensure our community remains welcoming, productive, and valuable for everyone. By participating, you agree to follow these rules and contribute positively to our shared space.

Treat Everyone with Respect

  • Be kind and courteous - Remember there's a real person behind every username
  • Assume good intentions - Give others the benefit of the doubt
  • Welcome newcomers - Everyone was a beginner once
  • Disagree gracefully - Focus on ideas, not individuals

Zero Tolerance For

  • Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks
  • Discriminatory language or behavior based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or age
  • Threats or intimidation of any kind
  • Doxxing or sharing others' private information
  • Sexual content or unwanted advances

Good Discussion Practices

  • Search first - Check if your question has already been answered
  • Use descriptive titles - "WhatsApp Business API rate limits?" beats "Help needed!"
  • Provide context - Include relevant details, error messages, and what you've tried
  • Stay on topic - Keep discussions focused on the original question or theme
  • Mark solutions - If an answer solves your problem, mark it as the solution

Formatting Tips

  • Use paragraphs for readability
  • Format code snippets properly
  • Include screenshots when helpful (but remove sensitive data)
  • Use appropriate categories and tags

🚫 No Spam or Self-Promotion

Prohibited Content

  • Unsolicited advertising - Don't promote your products/services unless directly relevant to the discussion
  • Affiliate links - No referral codes or affiliate marketing
  • Duplicate posts - Don't post the same content multiple times
  • Off-topic content - Keep discussions relevant to Chat247 and WhatsApp automation

  • Case studies and results from using Chat247 (without excessive self-promotion)
  • Open-source tools and resources that benefit the community
  • Job postings in the appropriate category (limited frequency)
  • Event announcements relevant to WhatsApp automation or customer service

Protect Your Data

  • Never share API keys - Don't post credentials, tokens, or passwords
  • Redact sensitive information - Remove customer data, phone numbers, and PII from screenshots
  • No credential sharing - Don't ask for or share account access
  • Report security issues privately - Email security concerns to security@chat247.bot instead of posting publicly

Respect Others' Privacy

  • Don't share others' personal information without permission
  • Respect confidentiality in private messages
  • Don't screenshot and share private conversations

  • Permanent ban - Severe or repeated violations result in permanent account termination

How to Report

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

  • Use the report button - Every post has a report option
  • Provide context - Explain what guideline was violated and why
  • Don't engage - Report and move on; don't escalate conflicts

What Happens Next

  1. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours
  2. We investigate the context and history
  3. Appropriate action is taken based on severity
  4. You'll receive a notification about the outcome

False Reports

Abusing the report system (filing false or malicious reports) is itself a violation and may result in moderation action.
